1. Paid Time Off (PTO)

Overview

Zaden Technologies provides a combined PTO policy that covers both vacation and sick leave. This gives employees flexibility to use their time off as needed without categorizing the reason.

Eligibility

All full-time employees (salaried and hourly) are eligible for PTO benefits.

PTO Allowance

Annual PTO	120 hours (15 days)
Accrual Rate	4.62 hours per 80 hours worked
Balance Cap	120 hours maximum
Carryover Cap	40 hours (resets January 1)
Minimum Request	1 hour
Maximum Request	40 hours per request

Accrual Details

PTO accrues each pay period based on hours worked
Full-time employees working 80 hours per pay period will accrue 4.62 hours of PTO
PTO accrual includes time off and holiday hours
New employees begin accruing PTO immediately upon hire (prorated for first year)

Carryover Policy

Up to 40 hours of unused PTO may carry over to the next calendar year
